- There will be both fatigue and injuries in EASHL. The injuries are all playable and have a fairly short effect -- less than half a period.
- passing is now based on how far you hold the trigger and release, instead of the press.
- [EASHL 3 STARS] anyone can skip through it this year. we heard the communities feedback on that one and made sure to put that into action this year.
- Yes, one of the situations where goal reviews and disallowed goals will happen is with kicked pucks.
- [FACE-OFFS] It will feel natural, no delay at all
- [FACE-OFFS] no, everyone has access to the same moves, but your skill, ability and timing to pull them off depend on your faceoff attribute.
- [FACE-OFFS] Tying up is done by moving the left stick into the player. Deking from face-offs is done by pressing the LB while pushing the RS in a direction just as you normally would deke
- [IN FRONT OF NET] Yes, the interference rules have been changed and they are more realistic.
- [FACE-OFFS] Timing matters as much as what face-off strategy is selected. It's not necessarily a rock beats paper scenario
- [FACE-OFFS] i personally have not scored off a faceoff, but was able to get a good low shot, and my winger snuck in and potted in the rebound. there is no percentage chance of scoring a goal off the faceoff other than that it can happen.
- [FACE-OFFS] (BOTH PLAYERS DEKE OFF FACE-OFF) whoever has better timing and higher face off attrib
- It'll be harder to score with a wraparound.
- [FACE-OFFS] (BREAKING STICK) not this year, but that is a good suggestion and something we'll look into.
- There are different face-off formations you can select before face-offs
- The fatigue effect in EASHL is different than the regular game because you are still on the ice the whole time. You recover energy much quicker -- but I'll say more about this later when we talk about one of the other changes...
- [EASHL] (MULTIPLE PLAYER BUILDS) Not in NHL11, but we did make it easier to change your player type and re-assign his attributes in the Edit Attributes screen.

- Yes, the size and strength of players matter much more in the hitting now.
- It's all determined by the weight of the player, the velocity of the hit, and where the player is hit. Very much based on positioning and speed.
- depending on the position of the person doing the hip check, and where they are in relation to the player they are trying to check, they may or may not produce a big hip check. it is possible to bounce off a person who is intending to hip check.
- Yes, the ability of a player to receive the pass cleanly depends on all the sorts of things you'd expect, like how hard it is, his skill, the quality of the pass, whether the player can see the puck, if it is on his forehand of backhand, etc. When he doesn't get it cleanly it will other miss completely or glance off.
- You can't get away with interference off the face-off any more.

- There are other ways, for example a hard slap shot that hits a stick can break it.
- Goalies cannot break their sticks.
- Yes, there are rolling pucks.
- had this awesome hit once, where Salo went to glove the puck down, i took a run at him and laid him flat on his back. Injured, concussion. absolutely satisfying to sit in the box for 2 minutes. so to answer your question, yes, you can steam roll guys who are trying to glove the puck.
- Yes, if you break a stick with a stick lift you can get a penalty.
- you can direct where you want the puck to be kicked when you don't have a stick. there will be no "kick puck" button.
- [TEAMMATES HITTING EACH OTHER] great idea for us to push physics to the next level. unfortunately we won't be able to do that this year. this will be something we look towards in the future for sure.
- [PRESSING SHOOT TO HIT PUCKS OUT OF AIR] Yes, you will be able to hit pucks out of the air like this goal
- This has been fixed, it won't poke if your teammate has the puck.
- [HELMETS POPPING OFF] No, unfortunately not
- no, when a stick is broke, the player will drop it on the ice and proceed to play with no stick.
- yep! if you are slashed and drop a stick, hit and drop a stick, and the stick is still in one piece, you can skate over to it and pick it up and resume play.
- they will not. many of the hits are glances where the players stay on their feet. expect to see that more regularly than the big hits
- [BROKEN STICKS] Yes, it is a pretty rare circumstance, but having the wrong curve does affect passing and shooting.

- [STAYING ON FEET AFTER BEING HIT] definetely a possibility. that is how the new physics engine works. not every hit is huge. you will just have to play the game when it comes out and take our word for it now.
- Yes, you *can* fall if you skate over a broken stick.
- Yes, you can hit, block shots and do pretty much anything you'd expect to be able to do without a stick.
- [GETTING UP AFTER HIT] sometimes on big hits depending on the position the player is on the ice, yes, it may take longer.
- It is a lot easier to take away the pass with positional play.
- you can definetely try to play defense without a stick, i wouldn't recommend it, but its possible.
Ok, the new Gameplay Feature is a feature we are calling the Hustle Button. I will let Redshirt explain how it works
- Ok... first what it is NOT....It is NOT sprint or speed burst like NHL06 (and earlier).
- It is on L3, and it gives you an increase to acceleration and a small increase in speed.
- The point of it is to create a range in speed so that players aren't always going 100% speed. It lowers your fatigue more quickly than normal skating and you can't turn as sharply.
- this is exactly what the intention of the hustle button is. it is for players to "Switch gears" as the commentators call it. you can use it for both offense and defense.
- So you won't be using this to weave around with the puck, it is more for straight ahead speed in transition on on races for the puck.
- Or getting around a defender, which is when I like to use it
- It is also something defenders now have to counter the speed/acceleration boost given by the push puck.
- it's not a turbo button...you're not going to want to use it in any situation unless you are going straight
- with or without the puck
- 3 taps gets you to the max speed. you won't get any other benefit after that
- once will give you a small burst...twice, a little more burst, and 3x will get you to top speed. you got the right idea
- you can use it as much as you want but there will be a fatigue cost. like Sk88z mentioned, you can tap it 500 times, but after 3, you're maxed out.
- RE: difference between push and hustle. You keep control of the puck, but don't get quite as much acceleration and speed because there is a penalty on those for having the puck
- Three in a row gets you to the max speed and it'll drop off slowly from there. You can maintain the top speed by clicking at a moderate rate. When you are getting a boost you will fatigue faster and turn less quickly.
- With the hustle feature, there is risk-reward in that you will get fatigued the more you use it.
- Hustle will work in EASHL too because there is fatigue there. This is tied to the endurance attribute so that will end up being pretty important.

Il y aura à la fois la fatigue et les blessures dans EASHL. Les blessures sont tous jouables et ont un effet assez court - moins de la moitié d'une période.
